Code of Conduct

1. Purpose

This Code of Conduct defines the minimum standards expected of all candidates participating in CSA training, assessment and certification activities.

2. Professional Behaviour

Candidates are expected to:

  • Act respectfully and professionally.
  • Communicate appropriately with trainers, assessors, staff and other learners.
  • Follow reasonable instructions relating to training and assessment.
  • Avoid abusive, discriminatory, threatening or disruptive behaviour.

3. Academic and Assessment Integrity

Candidates must:

  • Complete their own assessments.
  • Not impersonate another candidate.
  • Not obtain or provide unauthorised assessment assistance.
  • Not manipulate assessment records or systems.
  • Follow applicable examination and referencing rules.

4. Accuracy and Identity

  • Registration information must be truthful and accurate.
  • Identity information must belong to the registered candidate.
  • Fraudulent or altered documentation must not be submitted.

5. Information and System Security

Candidates must not:

  • Share account credentials.
  • Attempt to bypass security controls.
  • Access information they are not authorised to view.
  • Disrupt or interfere with CSA systems or services.

6. Training Materials

  • Training content must be used only for authorised learning purposes.
  • Restricted material must not be copied or distributed without permission.
  • Copyright and intellectual-property restrictions must be respected.

7. Breaches of the Code

Where misconduct is identified, CSA may take appropriate action, including:

  • Issuing a warning.
  • Restricting or suspending access.
  • Invalidating an assessment attempt.
  • Investigating the matter through CSA quality or NC/CAR processes.
  • Reviewing or revoking a certificate where justified.
